Brief

Design and coffee go hand in hand, which is why the Typo team partnered with founder Noah Leach. The goal was simple: create good coffee and good design to complement each other. The teams collaborated on design direction and how to implement brand architecture as the company began production. Sustainability has become a buzzword in the coffee industry in recent years, but that does not negate its importance. The coffee industry has long been striving to create a sustainable model for the economic, environmental, and social structures surrounding it, hence the constant discussions around sustainability. Being sustainable in coffee is crucial because many of the best coffee-producing countries have extreme poverty. Ensuring that coffee farmers are paid fair and sustainable wages for their work will propel the industry forward. Trouvaille strives for sustainability by supporting farmers who practice and implement good agricultural principles. Additionally, they create a model in which baristas can earn livable and sustainable wages.
